This image focuses on the raw relationship between Cornwall’s mining heritage and the wild coastal landscape around it. The stone engine houses sit among steep cliffs, dark rock and breaking waves, giving the scene a powerful sense of history, exposure and place. It captures one of West Cornwall’s most recognisable industrial coastal landmarks in a detailed, atmospheric composition.
All canvas prints are giclee, using industry leading archival quality fine art printers printing on to a top of the range 380gsm cotton blend canvas material for life-long prints of the highest quality. The substantial cotton element ensures there is no cracking when the printed canvas is applied to our 38mm deep UK pine gallery style frames. Each one is lovingly hand stretched and hand cornered to ensure the best possible placement of the image. The canvas is then tacked and taped using high quality framer's tape. Wedges are applied to each corner of the finished frame to ensure long-lasting tautness. Finally, depending upon the finished size of the canvas, two hangers will be attached, meaning all you have to do is hang it on the wall (picture hooks not provided).
Each canvas is made to order. Please allow approximately 4–5 working days for production, as the satin varnish requires drying time before the canvas can be finished and packaged. Once ready, your order will be carefully packed and sent by tracked UK delivery.
