Lee Filters 10-Stop & 15-Stop ND Filters (Used with Nikon D7200)

When it comes to long exposure photography, my go-to filters are the Lee 10-stop and 15-stop neutral density filters. Used with my Nikon D7200, these high-quality glass filters allow me to dramatically extend shutter speeds, even in broad daylight. They’re perfect for smoothing out water, capturing motion in clouds, or creating surreal, dream-like landscapes. The 10-stop "Big Stopper" is ideal for slowing down exposures during golden hour or overcast conditions, while the 15-stop pushes the limits for ultra-long exposures, especially in brighter light. Both filters slot seamlessly into the Lee filter holder, maintaining image clarity and color neutrality while giving me full creative control over exposure length.

Urth Magnetic UV, CPL, ND8 & ND1000 Filters (Used with Nikon z6ii)

I use a set of Urth magnetic filters with my Nikon z6ii for added versatility and creative control in the field. The magnetic mount system makes switching filters fast and effortless—ideal for dynamic shooting environments. The UV filter provides everyday lens protection and helps cut through haze in distant landscapes. The circular polarizer (CPL) is great for reducing reflections on water and glass while enhancing contrast and saturation in skies and foliage. The ND8 is perfect for slightly lengthening exposures to soften movement, such as flowing water or swaying trees. For more dramatic long exposures, the ND1000 (10-stop) allows for slow shutter speeds even in bright daylight, making it ideal for minimalistic or ethereal landscape shots. Together, these filters offer a compact, reliable setup that supports a wide range of photographic styles.

Lee ND Graduated Filters – ND3, ND6 & ND9 (Used with Nikon D7200)

To balance exposure in high-contrast scenes, I rely on my Lee graduated neutral density filters—ND3 (1-stop), ND6 (2-stop), and ND9 (3-stop). These filters are essential for landscape photography, especially during sunrise and sunset when the sky is much brighter than the foreground. Each grad filter smoothly transitions from dark to clear, allowing me to retain detail in bright skies without underexposing the landscape below. Used with my Nikon D7200 and the Lee filter holder system, they help me achieve more balanced exposures straight out of the camera, reducing the need for heavy post-processing. Whether I'm shooting dramatic coastal skies or sunlit hillsides, these filters give me greater control over dynamic range in every shot.

ND & Polarizing Filters for DJI Mavic 3 Pro & Mini 3 Pro

To get the most out of my aerial footage, I use a range of ND and polarizing filters on both the DJI Mavic 3 Pro and Mini 3 Pro. These filters help manage exposure and glare in challenging lighting conditions, giving me smoother, more cinematic results straight from the drone. The ND filters are crucial for maintaining correct shutter speeds in bright daylight, helping reduce overexposure while introducing natural motion blur for more professional-looking video. The polarizers (CPL) cut through surface reflections on water and glass and deepen blue skies for greater contrast and clarity. Whether I’m filming sunlit coastlines or misty moorland, these filters allow me to adapt quickly and capture high-quality, balanced footage every time.
